WCRS has already saved a customer over £95,000
Company X generates approximately 1,000 tonnes of waste a year including a significant amount of packaging. The company paid £80,000 per year in waste costs and received a rebate of £7,000 on the 200 tonnes of cardboard that it recycled. Waste Cost Reduction Services (WCRS) took over the waste management for Company X and was able to increase the rebate on cardboard so Company X received £15,000 per year. WCRS also implemented recycling for plastics, pallets and metals, achieving a recycling rate of 80% and delivering further rebates of £52,000 a year. Company X’s waste costs reduced to £36,000 per year, turning a £73,000 net cost into approximately £25,000 net gain.
