WCRS opened five bulking centres last month following the launch of our recycling trading division earlier this year.

The sites located in Manchester, Derby, Rugby, Wiltshire and London and are taking baled card and plastics from WCRS customers. Once bulked up, these materials are then sold on to re-enter the manufacturing process and a rebate is returned to our customers.

WCRS launched the recycling trading division in March as a way to provide added value to our customers and reduce their waste management costs. We use our extensive knowledge of recycling and recyclable materials markets to obtain the best price and capitalise on the growing commodity market for these materials.

Our sites in Manchester and Rugby have already received loads and these have been sold on to the benefit of our customers and the environment.”
